How many Lottery projects do you fund outside of London?

This is difficult to measure.  For instance, with film production funding it is difficult to measure where our funding is actually spent. Whilst the majority of production companies are based in London, film projects can shoot anywhere and benefit any number of areas in the UK and beyond.

Our delegated Lottery spend via RIFE, Skillset and First Light fund many projects around the England regions and the UK nations.

How diverse are the people applying for and being awarded Lottery funding?

In 2009-10 (last fiscal year):

  • 35% of applicants and 44% of awarded applicants were female;
  • 1.56% of applicants and 0.08% of awarded applicants declared a disability.
